Does it hurt?

Getting tattooed will probably hurt. The amount of discomfort can vary depending on the placement of the tattoo and your tolerance to pain. The feeling of getting tattooed is often compared to being scratched. Remember: you are getting poked with a needle so expect to feel something.

How do I prepare for a tattoo?

Make sure you're well rested and eat something before you

go in for a tattoo. Getting tattooed will lower the sugarlevels

in your blood. It's advised to bring something sugary with you (some chocolate or a sugary drink) in case you start feeling faint.

How much does it cost?

It's difficult giving a set price for a tattoo. The price

will vary depending on the size of the tattoo and the

amount of detail. When it's a bigger piece the

artist will ask for an hour-rate.

How long will it take for my tattoo to heal?

It takes about 2 weeks for the tattoo to heal and about 3 months for the skin to be fully healed.

Can I swim and or sunbathe?

Swimming or sunbathing within the first two weeks after getting tattooed can seriously damage the healing process.

Can I bring my own design?

Ofcourse you can bring your own design and reference material. The artist will advise you on what is and isn't possible. Remember, tattoos are made to last a lifetime and you want them to still look good 15 years from now so trust your artist's advice.
